New Year’s Resolutions – Getting Fit & Quitting Smoking

Uncategorized

As we close the book on 2020, Tex and Cal take a closer look at two of the health topics commonly at the centre of New Year’s Resolutions – improving our physical fitness and quitting smoking. Movement coach Ian Blamey returns to the show to discuss setting goals and managing expectations when it comes to physical fitness as well as digging a bit deeper to think about the concepts of motivation and commitment.

Later in the show Cal and Tex are joined by Dr Sarah White from Quit to discuss some of the strategies for quitting smoking, including considerations for our LGBTIQ communities.

The Quitline can be reached on 13 78 48 or check out their website: www.quit.org.au

Movement coach Ian Blamey can be reached via email: ian@ianblamey.com or via Facebook.

At the end of show Tex and Cal also mentioned Northside Bizarre coming up on Saturday 6 February 2021. For more details, including how to support the event, head to: www.northsidebizarre.com
