Gordon is back and tells us about his road trip around parts of South Australia.

We celebrate anniversaries and birthdays which happen this week:

We are reminded that Queen Elizabeth II has now outreigned Queen Victoria.

We also remember the walk across Sydney Harbour Bridge in 2000 in the Walk for Reconciliation of indigenous Australians and note that they are still waiting for recognition in the Constitution. This prompts us to recall the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and the role of City Councillor Harvey Milk in the advancement of gay rights in the US.

We recognise the role of Victorian opera singer Dame Joan Hammond in the advancement of the arts in Melbourne and her life with her partner Lolita.

Graham Kennedy died this week in 2005; survived by other comics in Julian Clary and Graham Norton – all of them naughty boys.

We don’t forget the birthday of our icon Kylie Minogue.

Plus some trivia and mirth AND a Simpsons reference …..
