This week Phil is missing-in-action with a crook back, so we have a quick chat about the frailty of the human body and the stresses we inadvertently place of it.

We review the TV dramatic presentation of ‘Barracuda’ on ABC TV – an adaptation of Christos Tsiolkas’ novel about power, identity and sexuality as experienced by 4 schoolboys.

We remember the birthday of Jane Lynch from Glee and Best In Show fame and note that Aussie pop-singer Luke Antony is singing the official theme song for Munich’s Pride Festival.

Other celebrations at this time include the French National Day on 14 July, and our own anniversaries of the naming of Australia and the Official Australian Aboriginal Flag, and the anniversary of the Gay Games.
