During our absence, Gordon went luxury-cruising with his partner to Cambodia & Vietnam, Chris went for 6 weeks to various places in Germany, France and Spain, and sadly Phil stayed home.

In this episode, we celebrate the lives and words of film-maker Ang Lee and Australian Tim Conigrove – author of the very moving story of love, diversity and adversity – “Holding the Man”. Sir Cliff Richards has a birthday at this time too and whilst not making hits on the music charts, it seems that the British press, police and BBC have been trying recently to smear his reputation.

We chat about the opinion poll being run by the Bureau of Statistics to gauge Australia’s attitude towards changing the laws for same-sex marriage – or as we call it Marriage Equality. We note that our local councils are waving the flag for us and even the general public are being quite assertive in expressing their positive support for changes.
