2021: Promoting the Health Rights and Wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ Sex Workers

Welcome to the 2021 Better Together Conference Podcast. Recorded live at the Adelaide Convention Centre on the 18th and 19th of June, 2021. These sessions were proudly recorded and produced by JOY 94.9.

This session will highlight stereotypes, stigma, discrimination, law, and many cultural barriers faced by LGBTIQA+ sex workers, all of which lead to poor health outcomes, sub-standard or non existent industrial rights, and human rights abuses. This session will put forward the reasons why sex workers worldwide demand the decriminalisation of the Sex Industry.

Speakers: Heather Eckermann (SIN)
