The sun’s out, the temperature’s up and JOY adds more hot tracks to Melbourne’s most uplifting music mix.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is taking place at 2am AEDT on Monday 27 November and yet again, Australia is in the running for a win. Thirteen-year-old superstar Isabella Clarke is charged with collecting the Junior Eurovision trophy for us with ‘Speak Up’. The Melbourne-based singer is no stranger to the stage, having been a lead vocalist in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular. Catch up with our babblePOP! preview shows and watch the show live online or on ABC ME at the family-friendly time of 7.30pm on Monday.

LGBTI people in Chechnya are currently living in fear of persecution, violence, unlawful detention and torture, and a group of British singers have teamed up to help. One of Living Without Prejudice‘s (LWP) first goals as a charity is to bring awareness to the problems in Chechnya, and ‘Stronger Together’, a cover of the 1993 Stock & Waterman release by Sybil, is being used by LWP to raise money for the European Region of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA-Europe). Listen carefully for the voices of Sam Bailey, Angie Brown, Mary Kiani, Ross Alexander, New Dynamixx, Karl William Lund, The Show Bears and others in this track produced by Matt Pop.

Mimoza has had a massive year, leading to her current hit, ‘Anywhere’, with Aussie Tyron Hapi. ‘Big Girls Cry’ is Mimoza’s solo debut single and is well placed to be a massive hit for this American-Kosovan singer-songwriter.
