As we inch closer to the end of the year, we get a few extra inches on our new music list for 2017.
Sydney-based duo Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci, aka DNA, have released their ‘debut’ single called ‘Only Wanna Love You’, featuring the vocals of British singer Holly. DNA might seem new to you, but we’re very confident you know exactly who they are – they are the composers of total bops such as Sound of Silence, Don’t Come Easy, In My Blood, Wings, Firestarter, What You’ve Done To Me and Set It Off, among others. Here’s to more from the boys in the new year!
Taylor Swift has just released her album reputation and has decided to employ the remixing abilities of American BloodPop® to give the second single a bit of fizz. ‘… Ready For It?’ comes as the follow-up to Tay Tay’s wildly popular Look What You Made Me Do. Will Taylor’s musical reputation score her another hit?
We love our European pop at JOY, and a French duo has piqued our interest this week with a total banger. Dorian Lo and César de Rummel are Ofenbach, widely known in dance circles for their hit Be Mine. The Parisian lads have teamed up with Californian singer-songwriter Nick Waterhouse to get you doo-wopping with ‘Katchi’. It’s exactly the bop you’ll need for a day in Melbourne’s sun, and we reckon it’ll become your summer earworm.
