If you need a touch of joy in your life, you’re in the right place with these new additions.

Born in South Africa, Mel Bester now calls Australia home and channels her creativity as E^ST. She’s been ruminating on romance, mental health, adulthood, self-esteem and the struggles of navigating your early twenties to create her debut album, I’M DOING IT, due 31 July. The latest single, ‘I WANNA BE HERE’, affirms the notion that there’s always a positive way out of those times in life when things just feel impossible. You might think it’s a slower choice for daytime, but give it a moment and we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

It’s been a busy year for Karen Harding. The English singer-songwriter last lent her voice to a banger from some Aussies and now helps out a fellow Brit. ‘Undo My Heart’ is a house-inspired track from English producer Digital Farm Animals and is bound to get you dancing.

Aussie singer-songwriter Amy Shark isn’t known for bangers, but she’s come through with one here. ‘Everybody Rise’ is the latest release since her smash-hit 2018 album, Love Monster, and goes after our desire to make idols of people on social media while ignoring those who are right in front of us. Amy describes this single as an example of her hitting her stride. We can’t wait to hear what’s next!

Shaun Frank might be a new name to some, but his record precedes him. Having written for a long list of artists, including co-writing The Chainsmokers’ 2016 Australian #1 single Closer, the Canadian songwriter-producer-DJ is hitting a home run with his newest. ‘On Your Mind’ features the vocals of Canadian singer Alicia Moffet, who in 2013 won The Next Star, a French-Canadian reality TV show for singers younger than 15. If you need a song to practise your dance moves to, this one’s it!

Gold Coast DJ-producer Highup has seen his popularity explode of late, touring with Bombs Away, signing music to an array of international labels and working with talented producers the world over. The Aussie teams up with some Italians for ‘I Need You’ and serves a bop made for the club. Italian DJ duo Jonny Chiappetta and Francesco Granata, aka Flaremode, and Italian DJ-producer Boust help bring this track to life.
