Tonight we heard from Stuart Martin from DEFGLIS, the Defence LGBTI Information Service. The Australian Defence Force has made great progress in its attitudes toward LGBTI service personnel in the last twenty years and has been represented in the Sydney Mardi Gras.

For the second year, DEFGLIS members laid rainbow wreaths at war memorials around the country to commemorate the service of LGBTI people in military conflict.

And James Findlay spoke to Will Stroude from Attitude Magazine to find out the latest news in the UK and Europe.

Presenter: Claudine Chionh.

Producers: Claudine Chionh, Bart van der Werf and James Findlay.

Originally broadcast on Tuesday 26 April 2016.
