Food lovers Patrick and Shannon have dreams fulfilled on the latest installment of The Kitchen Table.
The good-looking duo took made a journey into the heartland of Australia’s culture this week, its food. Part of that trip involved a discussion with native food restaurant Charcoal Lane’s executive chef Greg Hampton and restaurant manager Ashan Abeykoon.
It starts in the restaurant’s training kitchen where the food show hosts get to see and smell Australia’s herbs and spices in action. Chef Hampton then takes them on a tour of his fridge where they get to see kangaroo chorizo and smell an amazing collection herbs. They then learn about passports for meat that allow chefs to keep track of where meat actually comes from.
Shannon discovers how much she wants wattleseed to get in ice cream and then her face.
