/ Ways to listen

Click the Listen Live button on the right (in a desktop browser) or down below (in a mobile browser) to open our web-based player. The player opens a new pop-up window; if you have pop-up windows blocked, this option may not work.

The player may not automatically start on some mobile browsers, so just hit the Play button to start the audio.

Available on the App StoreListen live via your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch via the JOY 94.9 app available in the App Store.

The app has a built-in program schedule, as well as integration with our new digital broadcast system to provide song and album artwork information. You can also keep up-to-date with JOY’s social media via the dedicated Twitter tab.

Android

Unfortunately, due to a lack of volunteer resources, the JOY app for Android has been retired. Android users can use the web-based player  by tapping the Listen Live button as described above.

Alternatively, many of our Android users are using TuneIn to connect to JOY. You can find TuneIn on the Google Play Store.

If you are an Android developer and wish to volunteer your services to create a new Android app for JOY, please contact odm@joy.org.au.
