Becoming a member of JOY proudly signifies your support of independent rainbow community media.

JOY individual, family and passionate members have a direct say in how the organisation operates through voting rights.

JOY memberships are governed by the Rules of Association and the Terms & Conditions.

Things you should know

• The membership subscription is in Australian Dollars, includes GST and it is valid for 12 months.
• JOY does not store your credit card number or cvv on our systems. For recurring payments we store a token that can only be used by JOY. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for more detail.
• Donations of $2 or more, made using this form, are tax deductible. The membership component is not tax deductible due to government legislation.
• The start date of a new membership is the date the membership application is received with payment in an acceptable form.
• The renewal payment should be received within one month prior of the renewal date to retain continuity of the membership.
• Concession: Applies to Student, Unwaged, Pensioner, Seniors or Concession card holders.
• Automatic renewal of your membership is available. (With the exception to Concession and Under 18 membership)
  • You will receive a notification from JOY to your nominated email account four weeks before your renewal payment is withdrawn from your nominated credit/debit card;
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient funds available in your account to allow the payment to be made;
  • Please advise us immediately of any changes, including update of your card expiry date;
  • All card details are stored securely and transacted directly between your bank and our bank under the Bulk Electronic Clearing System;
  • You are advised to check your account details and transactions; we will assist you in resolving any disputes relating to your membership payment;
  • Any increases in Annual Subscription for your current membership category selection will apply to all future renewals;
  • You may stop or defer a payment, or terminate this agreement by giving us at least fourteen days notification by emailing membersadmin@joy.org.au.
