Oz Comic-Con, Australia’s leading pop culture expo, and Queer Geeks of Oz joined together to celebrate and explore LGBTIQ visibility and representation in pop culture, at this years Oz Comic Con in Melbourne’s iconic Royal Exhibition Building.

Hosted by Australia’s very only LGBTIQ geek radio show, Sci-Fi and Squeam’s Sonja Hammer, along with JOY broadcasters Dylan Adler, Raena Jackson-Armitage, podcaster, audio geek and queer gamer Kyle Evans, transgamer and Horror geek Bailey O’Neill, and performer and comic geek Dean Arcuri.

Sonja Hammer, organizer of the Queer Geeks panel and host of Sci-Fi and Squeam says, “This is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate all things geek. The panel will focus on the characters, media, art, people and work that is loved across queer pop culture.”
