Summer of JOY Terms and Conditions

JOY Gold Coast Prize Terms and Conditions:

Return economy flights for two people from Melbourne to Gold Coast airport. Winners of the Gold Coast prize who are not located or do not reside in Melbourne, will be responsible for getting themselves to Melbourne to avail themselves of the prize flights.

Flights will be booked on the basis of the best available rates at the time of booking with one (1) piece of checked baggage per person.

Additional changes to the booked flights will be at the Prize Winners cost.

The Prize Winner and their travelling companion must travel on the same flight.

Travel arrangements to and from the Prize Winner’s nearest flight departure capital city airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the Prize Winner.

Transfers from Gold Coast airport to Gold Coast hotel are also the responsibility of the Prize Winner and do not form part of the prize.

Travel insurance is the responsibility of the Prize Winner and their travel companions.

The Promoter and Sponsors are not liable for any costs incurred if the Prize Winner and/or their companions travel without insurance.

The quoted rates are for prize value purposes only and are based on the following retail rates:

Flights from Melbourne = $432.00 per person return

2 nights’ accommodation with breakfast at QT Hotel Surfers Paradise = $310.00 per night.

The prize must be booked by 30 June 2015. Booking dates are subject to availability and must exclude Christmas and Easter school holiday periods.

If the QT Hotel Surfers Paradise is not available for the Prize Winners requested dates, then a comparable Gold Coast hotel will be offered to the Prize Winner. The Prize Winner can accept this alternative hotel or request different dates for when the QT Hotel Surfers Paradise is available. Accommodation will be booked in a King or Twin Mountain View Room.

Notice of intent to travel must be received at least 30 days prior to the Winners proposed travel dates.

Unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the Prize Winner. The Prize Winner (and their travel companions) are responsible for all expenses other than that specified, including but not limited to spending money, transfers, meals, drinks, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities, insurance, taxes (including departure taxes), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs.

The Promoter and Sponsors are not liable for any costs incurred if the Prize Winner and/or their companions travel without insurance.

A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the Prize Winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. The Major Prize is valid for travel between 1 December 2014 and 30 June 2015. Flights and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other destinations.

BBQXL Prize Value: $599

BBQXL Prize Terms and Conditions:

Winners of the BBQXL HotBox 2-Burner BBQ prize will be provided with a prize redemption letter.

Winners of the BBQXL prize will need to negotiate with BBQXL to arrange collection or delivery of the prize from the BBQXL. BBQXL showroom is at 134 Hall Street, Spotswood, Collection is from Epping Warehouse.
