JOY 94.9 and 3AW talk-up the big issues

Australia’s only gay and lesbian radio station JOY 94.9 and Melbourne talkback giant 3AW are joining forces for the first time to raise awareness on the serious issues affecting today’s youth.

Together in a joint outside-broadcast, long time JOY 94.9 presenter David McCarthy will co-host with award winning radio powerhouse Neil Mitchell to talk about depression, suicide, bullying and other health concerns by sharing listeners’ experiences and discuss possible solutions in the hope that all young Australians can have a brighter future.

Fifteen-year JOY 94.9 broadcaster, Board member and co-host of JOY’s flagship program Saturday Magazine David McCarthy, will co-host with award winning journalist and arguably one of the countries most experienced radio presenters Neil Mitchell.

Thursday May 3 from 10am to midday at City Square, Swanston Street, Melbourne.
