JOY is powered by financial members, donors and sponsors who believe our communities deserve their own media. We don’t receive ongoing government funding to run JOY’s services, so Radiothon is the key moment each year when we ask our community to dig deep, support our mission, keep us broadcasting and help us continue connecting with LGBTQIA+ people and allies.
To make that call-to-action as compelling as possible, each year we invite businesses and organisations to donate prizes. These prizes help entice listeners to take out or renew their membership, bid in our silent auction, and find new ways to PARTNER WITH JOY—turning “I support JOY” into “I NEED that prize AND I support JOY.”

All prizes donated will be assigned as:
Major Prize: Top prizes result in one grand prize, drawn live on-air Friday 19th June
Silent Auction: All other prizes result in a 2-week online bidding frenzy ending Thursday 18th June
