Vale David Lee
It is with much sadness that we acknowledge the recent passing of JOY volunteer David Lee. David joined JOY’s office administration team in May 2013 and was a great addition on reception. He was always up for a chat and was well liked by everyone who met him. He took a break from volunteering at JOY in July of last year due to illness, and despite receiving treatment and his very positive outlook he sadly lost his hard-fought battle this past weekend.
David was also a very well-respected volunteer at the Positive Living Centre, and they are extending an invitation to everyone to attend a celebration of David’s life from 1pm Saturday at The Laird, 149 Gipps Street, Abbotsford. As David was a proud member of the leather community, you’re encouraged to dress accordingly in his honour or just turn up as you are and farewell this lovely man.
