Volunteer Achiever of the Month – September 2017
Each month we highlight a volunteer who has achieved excellence in the pursuit of the JOY values: JOYous, Courageous & Inclusive
In the month of September we continued to see an incredible up swell of energy and effort from volunteers across the station in response to the Marriage Law Postal Survey. Everyone has been delivering on the JOY mission to be uplifting, empowering and informative. While there have been so many amazing contributions, we would like to celebrate one volunteer in particular, who we saw demonstrate excellence in the pursuit of the JOY values.
Greta Larkins consistently steps up to champion women’s programming on JOY. In September she continued to do a combination of presenting, paneling and producing for 21st Century Women and The G-Spot. Recently she has picked up even more work, she has been working on all our Community Service Announcement scripts in September and helping out with live reads too! She regularly goes out of her way to be supportive and a team player and she has been dedicated, practical and positive in championing inclusion at the station.
Thank you, Greta!
