Looking for family fun? Moonee Valley Festival has it all

Moonee Valley Festival is a proud JOY Sponsor.

With three stages dedicated to live music and dance performances, plus plenty of kids’ activities, roving entertainment, market stalls and delicious food trucks, Queen’s Park will be packed with fun, flavours and festivities on Sunday, 15 March at Moonee Valley Festival.

Acclaimed R&B, soul singer Kylie Auldist, of The Bamboos fame, will be the headline performer on the Queens Park main stage supported by nine-piece brass band Bullhorn and singer/songwriter Candice Lorrae amongst others.

One Spirit Africa, Gusto Gusto, Mister Co, Tom Nethersole and Kaytlyn Johnson also appear on the bill.

There will be plenty to keep kids entertained, including hands-on activities, roving performers, face painting and even a unicorn dance party. Teens can flex their gaming skills and compete with others in the gaming zone.

Mayor of Moonee, Councillor Dr Rose Iser, encouraged residents to come along to this iconic event that has something for people of all ages to enjoy.

“Moonee Valley Festival is such a colourful celebration – our largest community event of the year, and our most popular with residents and visitors alike travelling to spend the day with us,” Cr Dr Iser said.

“It’s a great opportunity to watch some amazing live performances on the main stage of our picturesque park as well as promising newcomers, cultural performers and local schools.

“With a diverse range of culinary treats on offer from food trucks and market stalls, the only thing you need to do is pack a picnic rug and come along to enjoy a great day out.”
