Get your game on with Pride and Joy at ChillOut 2026

Come to the Bullarto Community Hall and The Royal Hotel in Daylesford during ChillOut 2026 and be inspired to get your sporting game on!

JOY 94.9’s dedicated weekly sport show Game On, presented and produced by Jacqueline Shields, will be displayed as a photographic exhibition for the first time outside of Melbourne. The collection, titled Sport with Pride and Joy, was first presented in the gallery of the Victorian Pride Centre in St Kilda for a six-week duration showcasing places where sport is welcoming, safe, inclusive and fun for the Rainbow community.

The exhibition is now touring to regional Victoria celebrating queer country pride thanks to the support of John Harvey, curator at Bullarto Community Hall, Jody Kember, publican at The Royal Hotel, and the ChillOut Committee.

Over thirty-five photos featuring 25 sports will cover the walls of the Bullarto Community Hall and The Royal Hotal in Daylesford sending the strong message that the LGBTIQA+ community belongs in sport.

The exhibition celebrates the extraordinary amount of people behind the many Pride rounds, games and tournaments and LGBTIQA+ sporting clubs featured across three seasons of Game On.

The dedication and determination of the Rainbow community to thrive in sport is proudly on display from elite athletes, Olympians, Paralympians and members of grassroots sporting clubs.

A spotlight is shone on the support from leaders of our sporting codes across Australia – the many active allies who staunchly believe that sport should be enjoyed by everyone.

The exhibition is a beacon of positivity. It serves to challenge the viewer to reimagine their relationship with sport to what is possible – connection, camaraderie, confidence, and a successful career. A QR code accompanies each image with an open invitation to learn more and be inspired to get your game on!
