Melbourne’s Pride season is just around the corner, and JOY 94.9 is excited to be part of the festivities! We are calling on enthusiastic volunteers to help make these events unforgettable. Here are the key dates and how you can get involved:
Jan 19 – Midsumma Carnival
Join us at the Midsumma Carnival! We need volunteers to man the JOY booth, assist with setup and pack down, and promote an exciting competition that will be revealed on January 17. Your support will help us engage with the community and spread the JOY!
Feb 2 – Midsumma Pride March
We invite all supporters of JOY to join us for the Midsumma Pride March. You don’t have to be a JOY member to participate—bring your friends and family too! Let’s march together and show our pride.
Feb 9 – Victoria’s Pride
Similar to our carnival day, we will have a stall at Victoria’s Pride street party. Volunteers are needed to help us connect with attendees.
Mar 27-30 – Bendigo Pride Festival
Join the JOY team in Bendigo for the weekend! There are numerous opportunities to connect with the community and promote JOY.
