Victoria’s 2014 Australian of the Year joins JOY for Pride March 2014

Pride March is back at St Kilda this Sunday and JOY 94.9 will be there broadcasting live from 1 – 3pm and marching with pride with a very special guest too.
John Caldwell, Victoria’s Australian of the Year for 2014, will join JOY 94.9 at Melbourne’s annual GLBTIQ pride celebration. John has risen above a very harsh start to life to become a successful business man and youth advocate and is well known for his strong stance against bullying.
I am so excited to be on board with JOY 94.9 during Melbourne’s Pride March. This is an event that truly celebrates the culture and diversity of Victoria’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersex and transgender community. I am absolutely in love with JOY as an organisation and am proud to lead them on this march that means so much to so many.
