Volunteer Achiever of the Month – June 2017

Each month we will be highlighting a volunteer who has achieved excellence in the pursuit of JOY’s values: Integrity, Leadership, Sustainability, Respect and Inclusion.

In the month of June, many volunteers worked incredibly hard and produced incredible work in service of Radiothon – with incredible results alongside the incredible generosity of our members. We would like to celebrate one in particular, who we saw demonstrate excellence in the pursuit of JOY’s values.

Chris Furneaux, JOY’s Member Services Coordinator (a volunteer position), puts in many hours every week processing and validating membership information. However Chris went above and beyond in dedication to JOY’s value of Sustainability during Radiothon by dedicating a huge amount of time and effort to verifying membership data as it came through in huge volumes! Chris consistently works hard behind the scenes, year in and year out, to ensure that JOY is sustainable.
