Yarra Trams #AllAboard
Cast your VOTE NOW for the next #AllAboard Pride Tram design!
Continuing their support for the LGBTIQA+ Melbourne community, Yarra Trams are again wrapping a tram to celebrate our diverse communities and welcome those from all walks of life aboard their trams and network.
JOY Media has partnered with Yarra Trams and Midsumma Festival for the #AllAboard Pride Tram for 2023. JOY Media’s CEO, Ange Barry joined a board of esteemed judges to select the finalists last week. Ange was excited by the creativity of designs submitted and found it hard, along with the other judges who included the Hon. Ben Carroll MP – Minister for Public Transport and members of Midsumma and Yarra Trams, to choose a top five for the public to vote on.
“We were delighted to be asked to partner with Yarra Trams for this amazing competition to celebrate diversity across our LGBTQIA+ community. The work of our talented Rainbow designers is superb and I can’t wait to ride on the Pride Tram soon”
The 2023 #AllAboard pride tram will travel along the parade route during the Midsumma Pride March 2023 and across Melbourne’s tram network for the rest of the year. The second placed design will be applied to a tram shelter in the vicinity of the Victorian Pride Centre for the Midsumma Pride March in February.
After narrowing down a multitude of submissions, voting for the winning design is NOW OPEN. Voting is open from October 7th to the 23rd.
Head over to Yarra Trams to check out the designs and cast your vote!
