Radiothon 2023- Thank You for Thriving with JOY
All of us at JOY would like to thank you for the support you have given us during this year’s Radiothon. To all of those who shared how they Thrive with JOY and got your workplaces on board to donate or become members, and for sharing with your own friends and family – thank you. Through your generous financial support, we have achieved a result of $259,000 – the highest result we have had so far!
The air around JOY studios was electric, from show presenters doing live shows throughout the week, a steady stream of donations, contributions, and memberships from our wonderful listenership. All who tuned in to support us by texting, emailing, or ringing to let us know you were thriving with us and loving the shows – for this, we are eternally grateful!
Thank you specifically to all our patrons, members, sponsors, and donors and to all the amazing people who offered such fabulous prizes to us for our Radiothon efforts this year. We also saw a return of our popular prize draw ‘Unbolt The Vault’ from last year.
With three major prizes to be won, we wish to thank our prize sponsors at United Airlines, Selina Hotels, Voco Hotels, Celluderm Skin Aesthetics, Ande K Art, and Squealing Pig for their support of the Radiothon party. The excitement from our keyholders was so enthralling!
Our radiothon concluded on Friday night with our massive party where key holders came together with JOY team members to try their luck to Unbolt the prize Vault. A special thanks to our Radiothon 2023 Prize Vault sponsors: United Airlines, Selina Hotels, Voco Hotels, Celluderm Skin Aesthetics, Ande K Art and Squealing Pig.
Three lucky winners are off to New York, viewing the beautiful Ande K painting or off to Celluderm for a wonderful skincare package. A big congratulations to all of you!
We had a chance to catch up with one of our winners, who stated that she loves the diversity and community JOY Radio brings to her day.
We would also love to thank our incredible volunteers both on and off air, who took time to ensure that Radiothon 2023 would be a smashing success.
We say it often, but it is true. JOY does not exist without you, and this year you reminded us of that fact more than ever. Thank you for your support and let us have a fabulous 2023 together as we continue to build a more inclusive Australia.
