Voting is OPEN for the #AllAboard Pride Tram 2024
JOY Media is once again excited to be part of the public voting for the 2024 #AllAboard Pride Tram!
For the second year in a row, the design of the #AllAboard Pride Tram has been opened to the public. After some incredible entries from some very talented artists, the final five designs have now been revealed – and it’s now up to you to decide the winner!
Voting is open now until Friday 29th September at 5pm.

Yarra Trams CEO Carla Purcell told JOY’s Sunday Arts Magazine:
“This is the only tram on the network where the people get to decide and then we will get to enjoy it for 12 months.”
“Whichever design ends up winning, I’ll be incredibly proud to have it travelling as an important symbol of diversity and inclusion on the world’s largest tram network.”
The winning design will be proudly featured on a tram rolling around Melbourne for an entire year, and the runner-up will be applied to a tram stop shelter located near the Victorian Pride Centre on Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, on the parade route for Midsumma Pride March, so choose wisely!

Earlier this year, JOY Media and Yarra Trams held the first ever Pride Ride, inviting lucky listeners on this exclusive experience travelling from the Victorian Pride Centre to Gertrude Street for the Victoria’s Pride street party, all aboard the out, loud, and proud Pride Tram. The #AllAboard Pride Tram is quickly becoming one of the most memorable parts of Melbourne’s Pride season, and the entire JOY team is excited to see what it will look like in 2024!
