Melbourne United and JOY 94.9 partner for NBL Pride Round live broadcast

JOY 94.9 and Melbourne United are excited to once again team up for NBL Pride Round as Melbourne United host their Pride Round home game on 7 February against the Adelaide 36ers inside John Cain Arena.

This will be the second consecutive season in which the broadcast has taken place live from Melbourne United’s home court.

Hosted by Jacqueline Shields, the show will feature conversations about inclusion within sport with a collection of exciting guests.

Across NBL26, both Melbourne United Head Coach Dean Vickerman and star big-man Jesse Edwards have joined Jacqueline live on the air at the JOY studios to touch on the importance of inclusion within sport.

Melbourne United CEO Nick Truelson said he can’t wait to have JOY back in the building for the Pride Round clash.

“At Melbourne United, one of our key values is to be inclusive, and that’s why we’re so committed to championing Pride Round, and bringing in diverse voices, such as the team at JOY, to share their stories,” Truelson explained.

“It was amazing to see what JOY was able to do with the broadcast last year, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for this season.”
