JOY Media celebrates Wear It Purple Day

Annually on August 27th, we celebrate Wear It Purple Day to raise awareness of issues faced by LGBTIQA+ youth and celebrate the diversity of our  rainbow young people. We send all our love to amazing LGBTIQA+ young people everywhere and to remind you that your authenticity is your power, we love you for you who you are!

Earlier in the week, the JOY Drive team got to speak with Treasurer of Wear it Purple Day, Glen Hare all about the importance of the awareness day and how to better support queer youth all year around. You can listen to the podcast at joy.org.au/joydrive

The Saturday after Wear It Purple Day, we were thrilled to be supporting Minus18’s Purple Pride Party event with our  JOY Gigs tech services to ensure the digital event ran a smooth as possible.

If you’re looking for livestreaming services for your next event, you can check out the services on offer at joy.org.au/services/joy-gigs or email sales@joy.org.au to learn more.
