
Vaccine Support for LGBTIQA+ folks experiencing homelessness or hardship

VincentCare is supporting queer folk who are homeless or experiencing disadvantage to get vaccinated. They can help with booking an appointment, providing information, or referring people to a specialised service.
They will be providing a $50 Coles gift card to clients that can be used to support clients to receive their vaccine. This assistance is open to any VincentCare or community services organisation who are supporting a client who identifies with the LGBTIQ+ community. There are a limited number and will be given out on a first come, first served, basis.
How to Apply
If you are providing support to an LGBTIQ client and would like to access the LGBTIQ Vaccine Incentive Program, please send an email to the contact in your region (see ‘Locations Covered’) with the following information:
Name of the client
Name of referring worker, agency and contact details
Advise whether the card will be picked up at a VincentCare office or if the card needs to be posted out (remembering to include the relevant postal address)
VincentCare will process the application and get back to you asap. You’ll need to let them know whether the card can be picked up at a VincentCare office, or if you need them to mail it to you. If you do need it mailed, please provide a full postal address.
