Unbolt the Vault – Winner Announced for Radiothon 2022
What a fantastic radiothon we have had here at JOY! After 10 days of fundraising to help us all #GrowWithJOY, we concluded radiothon with our
massive Unbolt the Vault Rooftop Party! 79 key winners came to the rooftop of the Victorian Pride Centre to try their luck at the vault full of prizes worth $30,000.
Inside our wonderful sponsors had provided:
- 2 Return Economy Plus Tickets to San Francisco, from UNITED AIRLINES
- $5000 worth of cosmetic procedures from THE DERM LAB
- A 12-month Cinema Nova GOLD PASS for 2 people at CINEMA NOVA
- 2 Cruise cabins for 8 people on P&O Pride Cruise in December 2022, thanks to P&O CRUISES.
- AND A Scooterama Honda Dio Motorcycle scooter thanks to POOF DOOF
As we kicked off the vault unbolting at 8pm, key holder after key holder stepped up to try their key.
As many could not attend the rooftop party, we had JOY Breakfast co-host Anna Murphy acting as proxy for those not in attendance.
Over 40 people had tried and failed to Unbolt the Vault, until Anna acted as proxy for one absent attendee who turned out to be our very lucky winner! Congratulations to Fiona Mcleod on winning JOY’s Unbolt the Vault! As we couldn’t reach Fiona on the night, JOY volunteer Mark who happened to be friends with Fiona, took her out to breakfast to tell her the news over coffee.
