Adam Lambert is an American singer, songwriter and stage actor. He began performing in amateur theatrical productions in childhood, a path he pursued into adulthood, appearing in professional productions in the U.S. and abroad. Lambert became prominent after appearing on the eighth season of American Idol and is the first openly gay mainstream pop artist to launch a career on a major label in the U.S. Katie and Johno interviewed Adam Lambert in Sydney August 23, 2012 and produced a special 2 hour broadcast which aired Monday 27 August at midnight and played the full interview on Theme Party Wednesday August 29.
